Creating videos can be applicable for many parts of the curriculum; an example could be a book trailer.

What is this?
This is live streaming broadcast.

How can I integrate this into my class?

These can be used to create morning announcements for the school or in other applications.


Blendspace:

What is this?
Blendspace allows teachers to take different documents, videos, links, and resources and create differentiated lesson plans. Students are able to interact with each resource to complete lessons; there are also many searchable teacher-created lessons available.

How can I integrate this into my class?
Blendspace is an option for teachers trying to “flip” their classroom. One unique feature is that students are able to rate different resources.

Moodle:

What is this?
Moodle is learning management system where teachers can add resources and activities for students to complete. It can be as simple as a single page of downloads, or a complex set of tasks or progressive learning path.

How can I integrate this into my class?
Students can progress at their own pace, a teacher’s pace or a combination of both!

Screencasting:

What is this?
A screencast is a digital video recording that captures actions taking place on a computer display.

How can I integrate this into my class?
Screencasts can be used for demonstrating how to use specific software, website features, reading a story, giving directions or narrating a presentation.

Symbaloo:

What is this?
Symbaloo is a website that creates teacher “webmixes.” Webmixes appear as different tiles on the screen; the tiles are clickable and direct the user to specific websites.

How can I integrate this into my class?
This allows the teacher to direct students to a website without having the students type in a web address.
